Louisiana Lottery Confirms $675,000 Winner Monday

Then in Saturday's Powerball drawing, there was another Match 5 Million ticket sold. That ticket was also purchased in Missouri. Louisiana's lottery luck hasn't been quite as lucrative but there was a big winner from the weekend that we are just now hearing about.

Our sources at the Louisiana Lottery did confirm with us on Monday that the Lotto game produced a winner on Saturday night. The jackpot at the time of the drawing was $675,000 and the winning ticket was sold at Robert Fresh Market #124 on South Claiborne Avenue. The winning ticket matched all six numbers needed to claim the game's top prize.

Incidentally, there was no big winner in Monday's Powerball drawing. The Powerball jackpot will climb to an estimated $39 million for the annuitized jackpot and $18.6 million for the lump sum payout in Wednesday's drawing. Tonight's Mega Millions drawing will be for a top prize of $250 million.
