Woman Who Didn’t Get Oil Changed for Two Years Blames Husband After Car Breaks Down
A woman blamed her husband after she "broke" her car by not getting an oil change.
On TikTok, Emily shared she hadn't gotten her car's oil changed in "about two years."
Emily stated that her car is "busted" after ignoring a warning light to get an oil change.
"Yes, there was a light on. But I always take that as a suggestion," she said via her viral TikTok video.
She was recently advised to get the car serviced, and she did. However, afterward she noticed the car was "driving funny" and "felt heavy and was making a rattling noise."

"It's smoking so bad, I can't even drive it. I don't feel safe driving it. I'm pretty sure I've ruined my car by being an irresponsible idiot," she added.
Emily has had the car for three years, and despite the vehicle coming with two free oil changes, she only claimed one.
"I know this is my fault and I am very disappointed in myself," she continued.
The woman, who admits she's used to blaming other people for her problems, also faulted her husband for not reminding her to get her vehicle serviced.

"Girl, I stay checking my oil percentage. I have a fear of being on the side of the road," one person wrote.
"That's insane. Anything that needs to be done on my car I take it in right away. I don't play about my car," another commented.
However, others agreed that her husband should have taken it to the shop.
"If my husband doesn’t take my car and do it himself, I WILL NOT," one person commented.
"I'm mad at [your] husband ['cause] regardless he should know," another user chimed in.
