Whether it's part of the closing stages of the I-10 Widening Project or the finishing touches on a portion of the Interstate, DOTD crews will be out on the highway in parts of Lafayette and St. Martin Parishes this weekend.

SATURDAY

  • I-10 WESTBOUND Exit Ramp at Exit 115 - LA 347 (Henderson/Cecilia) will be closed beginning at 8 PM and lasting until 1 AM the next day. This will allow crews to restripe the roadway and shift traffic to new lane configurations. DETOUR: Westbound traffic wanting to access LA 347 (Henderson/Cecilia) is to continue on I-10 westbound to Exit 109 (LA 328 - Breaux Bridge) and then take I-10 Eastbound via La 328 back to Exit 115 (LA 347 - Henderson/Cecilia).
  • I-10 WESTBOUND Entrance Ramp at Exit 115 - LA 347 (Henderson, Cecilia) will be closed beginning at 8 PM and lasting until 6 AM the next day. This will allow crews to restripe the roadway and shift traffic to new lane configurations. DETOUR: Westbound traffic is to take I-10 eastbound via LA 347 to Exit 121 (Butte La Rose), then onto I-10 westbound via LA 3177.
  • I-10 WESTBOUND - from Mile Marker 116 to Mile Marker 113 - will have alternating lane closures beginning at 8 PM and lasting until 6 AM the next day. This will allow crews to restripe the roadway and shift traffic to new lane configurations.
  • I-10 IN BOTH DIRECTIONS will have nightly lane closures from Exit 103 (I-49) to Exit 109 (LA 328 - Breaux Bridge) beginning at 8 PM and lasting until 6 AM MONDAY. This will allow crews to perform asphalt operations, epoxy overlay bridge decks and roadway striping. NO DETOUR IS NECESSARY.

SUNDAY

  • I-10 WESTBOUND Entrance Ramp at Exit 104 (Louisiana Avenue) will be closed beginning at 8 PM until 6 AM MONDAY. This will allow crews to perform asphalt operations on the roadway. DETOUR: Take I-10 Eastbound via Louisiana Avenue, continue on I-10 Eastbound to Exit 109 (LA 328 exit ramp), and I-10 Westbound via LA 328.
  • I-10 WESTBOUND Exit Ramp at Exit 103B (I-49 Northbound) will be closed beginning at 8 PM until 6 AM Monday. This will allow crews to perform asphalt operations on the roadway. DETOUR: Utilize the interchange clover leaf ramps by taking Exit 103A (US 167 South exit ramp), Exit 1A (I-10 Eastbound entrance ramp), and I-49 Northbound via Exit 103B.

The I-10 Widening Project is scheduled to end this summer.
