Officials with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office are asking for the public's help in finding a teenager who left his home at around 3 o'clock Monday morning.

According to details provided by Iberia Parish Sheriff Tommy Romero, the young man they are looking for is 15-year-old Demarcus Sam.

Officials say they were provided with video from a home surveillance camera that caught the young man leaving his home very early this morning.

He was said to be carrying several bags with him. His home is in the 3500 block of Green Street.

Sheriff Romero says the young man is described as being five feet, eight inches tall, and weighs around 130 pounds.

From the surveillance video, they believe the teenager was wearing a grey sweatshirt along with grey sweatpants.

When exiting his home he was seen wearing a pair of black crocs.
