Happy Easter To You, Happy Birthday To My Son Blake

Today is Easter Sunday and also the birth date of my son Clinton "Blake" Clements who is named after my ex-wife's father. I'm so very proud of him, you have no idea. He's turned into such an awesome man.

If you would be so kind as to allow me to brag, I'd like to say a few words about my wonderful son on his birthday today. He doesn't want me to say his age, so I won't.

When he was a little boy he was so insanely cute, totally blonde hair, we kept it long and just a sweet sweet kid. I remember being in Service Merchandise on Johnston with him one day and we could hardly leave the store because of all the fuss over him.

He's all grown up now, the rep for Samsung at Best Buy, but is still the sweetest, kindest, most genuine person you'll ever meet. Even if he's going through something difficult, he still greets customers with a smile and is ALWAYS helpful which isn't always the case in today's world.

After his sister Brittni's illness in 2016, he took the backseat a lot. But his love and compassion never wavered. He was and is the best big brother/son any family could ever ask for.

So often, because he's so level headed, I think Blake acts more like a parent. He's going to make an awesome father one day.

I love you Blake Clements, you are a blessing to all.
