Teenagers like to abbreviate things. It's a way of bonding, & having a language of their own. It's also a way to keep parents from knowing what they're talking & texting about. Many parents go through their kids texts, e-mails, and monitor their activity on social media. We're all familiar with Lol, Smh, & Omg. Some are pretty innocent, "LMK" (let me know), "WYCM" (Will you call me?) Then there are the ones designed to keep parents in the dark. Fox 40 in Sacramento recently published a list of 28 acronyms parents should know. Here are e few samples, IWSN (I want sex now) GNOC (Get naked on camera), NIFOC (Naked in front of computer), PIR (Parent in room), 420 (marijuana)  Click here for the complete list.
