Did you know that the general public can attend LAGCOE? For years, I thought it was only open to oil industry insiders, but the general public is invited to attend on October 24, 2013 from noon until 2:00 PM.

Lafayette will welcome thousands of domestic and international visitors to one of the largest oil and gas expositions in the United States on October 22 - 24, 2013. Online registration is now open for oil and gas industry professionals at LAGCOE.com. Industry personnel are encouraged to register online for free admission and to enjoy faster and easier entry at LAGCOE October 22–24, 2013 in Lafayette, LA, USA. There will also be two entrances: the traditional entry site outside the Cajundome at the tunnel is available for those who park onsite and the Convention Center entrance will be open for those using the convenient bus transportation system which will conveniently move people between the show and fourteen LAGCOE partner hotels.

LAGCOE 2013 exhibit space is sold out with 413 exhibitors displaying, while over 400 companies remain on the wait list. LAGCOE 2011 welcomed 14,000 attendees from 47 states and 27 countries. Admission to the show and technical presentations is free, and limited to energy industry personnel, except for October 24, 2013 from noon until 2:00 p.m. when the general public is invited.
