Entertainment will be headlined by Dustin Sonnier!

It will be a day of fun for the whole family in an effort to help the great work being done by the volunteers with Animal Aid for the Vermilion Area.

Animal Aid for Vermilion Area, a non-profit 501(c)3 animal rescue organization located in South Louisiana, has helped rescue thousands of animals.

AAVA has worked through 5 natural disasters, including hurricanes Katrina and Rita. In the aftermath of Katrina, they helped unite people with their pets and saved cattle from drowning and starving.

They have been helping animals and their owners for over 25 years, and one of their goals is to rescue and rehome as many animals as possible from the local Animal Control facility, a high kill pound with no adoption program. - AAVA Facebook

If you've never put together a team to cook at an event like this one, know that it's loads of work, but also loads of fun! Bring the cook in the family and let them share their family's favorite(s) in an effort to help the cause.
