The first look at Emily Blunt as the new Mary Poppins is nothing less than completely supercalifragilisticexpialidocious—even though the sound of a reboot was, at first, something quite atrocious.

Disney unveiled its first peek at Blunt as the iconic whimsical British nanny, originally portrayed by the legendary Julie Andrews, on Friday (March 3).

In the photo, Blunt-as-Poppins can be seen from behind, wearing a blue trench coach and a rose-colored Victorian-style hat as she grips her enchanted bag. So far, the actress is hitting all the right notes as the beloved character. See below:

The film, actually a sequel set 25 years after the original 1964 musical film, was announced last April, and contains an all-star lineup of actors including Meryl Streep, Colin Firth and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

A release date for has been set for December 25, 2018.
