(Baton Rouge, Louisiana) - Former LSU Football Coach Ed Orgeron was recently on a podcast (Bussin' With The Boys), and he dropped a lot of content, with an entertainment value to it, too.

Coach O, who currently isn't on a college football staff, has become one of the most entertaining figures on social media, and on a podcast, he lived up to the hype.

Not only did the national championship-winning coach address his desire to coach again, but he also discussed NIL and how it works now, versus then, and he even talked about the most critical conversation he ever had while a LSU coach.

Coach O said that the most crucial conversation he ever had while at LSU came when he met with Joe Burrow at a Baton Rouge restaurant and was attempting to get him to transfer to LSU. According to Coach O, if Burrow had not come to LSU, he would have been fired earlier.

Here's Coach O explaining just how important it was to get Burrow to LSU.

As the conversation went on, the former LSU then addressed the time he stopped jogging to take a photo with a fan, and then the fan gave Coach 0 a "Roll Tide." If you recall, Coach O was not pleased, and he lectured the guy.

Here he is explaining that confrontation.

When it came to addressing NIL in college football, which now legally allows collegiate players to be paid, Coach O said at one point that coaches went through the "back door" with the cash, meaning players were paid when they should not have been. However, as times and rules changed, coaches are now walking through the "front door" with cash.

This is GREAT!!

And lastly, the GRAND SLAM in all of this may have come when it was time for Louisiana's favorite coach to exit the building. Here he is talking about a relative down on the bayou.

This man is a Louisiana treasure, and we hope he lands a new coaching position anywhere in 2026.
