EatLafayette is a celebration of the best restaurants Acadiana has to offer and it happens at this time every year. I have the terrible job of visiting a lot of these local favorites. Who am I kidding? Learning the stories and traditions behind some of Lafayette's best dishes makes my job the best in the world.

This week, we sat down to lunch at Poorboy's Riverside Inn in Broussard. Every meal I have had there has been one to remember. The crabmeat they use is some of the best-tasting in Acadiana. Can't decide what you want? Try the sauteed jumbo lump crab meat dinner with a stuffed potato. Finish it off with the sweet potato beignet.
