Dustin Sonnier & The Wanted Headline This Week's Mercredi Show

The Mercredi Show free concert series at Pelican Park in Carencro is in full swing and this Wednesday, April 21 will feature Dustin Sonnier & The Wanted live on stage.

The show runs from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm each Wednesday. Just bring your chair or blanket and your dancing shoes. Please leave pets and ice chests at home. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Dustin Sonnier and his band have been a fixture in south Louisiana for several years now and bring a strong dose of hardcore honky-tonk music.

Sonnier has released three full-length albums over the years: Dustin Sonnier, Country, & Between the Stones & Jones.

Some of his songs that have garnered significant airplay in Louisiana and Texas have included "When She's In The Mood," "Whiskey Makes Her Miss Me," and "People Like Me."
