This year, as in past years, participants gathered at Celebrity theater in Broussard to line up and convoy the back roads of Iberia and St. Mary parishes down to Cypress Bayou Casino.
A record crowd kept volunteers at the registration table extremely busy.
Over 500 Jeeps and 4x4s. Nearly 1500 drivers and riders. (not including volunteers)
This years jaunt took nearly 3 hours and the convoy spanned a total of 8.3 miles from the first vehicle to the last.
The Jeep Jaunt, conceived and executed by JayCee who does the afternoon show on 99.9 KTDY, has grown in popularity year after year, allotted the American Lung Association a ton of funding and won JayCee Falcon and family a multitude of accolades.
