In the recent days, we have seen tragedy strike in New Orleans during Mardi Gras parades, but there has been some good news out of the Cresent City during Carnival Season.

Like this man, welding a manhole shut that after it reportedly "came loose" along one of the parade routes in New Orleans.

You can see police surrounding the man while he put the work in and those marching going around him.

The last thing we need this Mardi Gras season in New Orleans is someone falling down a manhole.
