Checkers on Ambassador Caffery is Totally GONE [PICTURES]

Checkers at 3220 Ambassador Caffery is totally gone! Not just closed, gone! The business closed a few months ago but the building still remained. Today, in the blink of an eye, the whole building is gone.

There is now only a hole in the ground where Checkers once stood on Ambassador Caffery near Sam's Wholesale and next door to it's rival Whataburger. At 2 a.m. on many weekends, there would be a line of cars in the drive-through at both Whataburger and the now-defunct Checkers fast-food restaurants.

No word yet if a new business will be locating on Checker's former site. There is a real-estate sign at the road indicating the property may be up for sale.
