Rand McNally has named Lafayette, La. "America's Best Small Town For Food" in their "Best Of The Road Rally" for 2011.

Our secret is out. We knew we lived in a happy place, but now the world knows it, too! The photo printing and sharing website, Shutterfly, has named three Louisiana cities among the ten most joyous  places in the nation. Lafayette came in at number 7.
