We've long been told exercise is important to good health. There is, apparently, too much of a good thing. Many of know someone who goes "overboard" with their regimen. The New York Post reports, a recent survey indicates too much exercise can lead to serious health issues, even death. Kaiser Permanente and the University of Illinois at Chicago monitored the exercise habits of more than 3,000 subjects. They found white males who exercise more than 7-1/2 hours per week are actually more susceptible to heart disease and cardiovascular issues like plaque buildup than those exercise in moderation. Researchers noted no similar trend in black men. We've all heard the adage, "If some's good, more's better." I guess not...
