Bayou Country Superfest Lineup To Be Announced Thursday

For a lot of music fans, Thursday's best Valentine's Day present won't be flowers or chocolate. It will be an end to the waiting. The waiting to find out exactly who will be performing and headlining Bayou Country Superfest, the annual Memorial Day music festival.

Organizers with Bayou Country Superfest have had to keep the lineup information close to the vest this year. If the rumors we've heard are true, on Thursday you'll find out why they've had to be so "hush hush" with who is going to play.

This year marks the return of Bayou Country Superfest to Baton Rouge. The festival had temporarily moved to New Orleans while renovations were being made to LSU's Tiger Stadium, the home of the event since its inception.

According to an official press release from Bayou Country Superfest the talent line up will be revealed Thursday morning at 9 AM live from the Stadium Club at Tiger Stadium. Governor Edwards, Lt. Governor Nungesser and a host of other state dignitaries are expected to be on hand for the announcement.

As you might imagine we will be watching the announcement for you and have the lineup and ticket information posted as soon as it becomes available. Personally, I hope the rumors are true, regardless I know I'm going to be blown away by the scope of the musical line up. The problem is, I just can't wait until Thursday.
