Acadiana Symphony Orchestra has teamed up with the Lafayette Science Museum to four Summer camps that look so great I'm thinking about altering my birth certificate so I can go!

The Tech-Bytes & Sound-Waves Summer Camps are open to kids ages 7 to 14. The camps are described as "a unique collaboration that will have students exploring core elements of Science, Technology and Music with unforgettable tours at the Museum" according to acadianasymphony.org.

ZOO-KULELE | JUNE 3-7 - "Campers will have the opportunity to learn tunes on the ukulele while discovering facts about the many giants and tiny critters that LSM has on display! All levels of experience are welcome. Thanks to Lafayette Music Company, ukuleles are provided to use for all campers!"

CONDUCTING CHEMISTRY I JUNE 10-14 - "Join us for a unique camp experience like no other where campers will have fun while learning the science of the elements and the science of the symphony"

XYLO-BONES I JULY 8-12 - "Campers will uncover the rhythm of dinosaurs and animals while having hands-on experience with the percussion family."

ROCKIN' ROCKETS I JULY 15-19 - "Our ship is fueled up and ready to send campers on an out of this world experience like no other. Campers will discover the thrill of space and rockets while rocking out to the rhythm of the cosmos!"
