If you were a fan of super chef and tv star Anthony Bourdain, now's your chance to own a part of his life. More than 200 of his personal belongings will be auctioned off next month by Lark Mason Associates, who have been hired by Bourdain's family to oversee the event.

The auction will go live online from October 9 - 30th, and will be available for preview beginning October 2. Three exhibits will also be held in New York, Savannah, Georgia, and New Braunfels, Texas, if you want to take a peek in person. According to the auction site igavelauctions.com 'The auction will continue Anthony Bourdain’s interest in education via the Anthony Bourdain Legacy Scholarship at The Culinary Institute of America, his alma mater.'

According to CNN, some of the items include a US Navy jacket given to him in 2006, a custom-made Bob Kramer chef's knife, An original typed manuscript or early draft for 'A Bone in the Throat' which he wrote, a painting entitled "Lizard Lounge." by Ralph Steadman, and a painting called "The sky is falling, I am learning to live with it,' that he purchased only a week before he died.

Bourdain killed himself on June 8th, 2018, and one of the last segments he filmed for his wildly popular 'Parts Unknown' TV series was here in Acadiana at Mardi Gras, and you can see a clip below.
