Acadiana Table Recipe: Okra And Tomatoes With Stewed Chicken And Sausage
This article hits the nail on the head, so-to-speak, when it claims that okra is a "love-it-or-hate-it" vegetable: I love it in gumbo, hate it by itself. I love it fried, hate it by itself. Love it stewed with tomatoes... you get the idea.
George Graham's Acadiana Table has just published a delicious-sounding recipe for okra, stewed with tomatoes, chicken and sausage.
The only thing about this recipe that I would adjust is the Rotel: I usually opt for the "mild" Rotel, in case my guests can't have too much spice.
I can't wait to try this recipe this weekend!
