Many of you just read the headline, '5 Ways Your Relationship Is Killing You' and thought, YEAH IT IS!  The ring is a trap, RUN!  Just joking.  Well maybe.

Cosmopolitan magazine just published a report of things in our relationships that are killing us.  Although much of the time, information published in Cosmopolitan is not taken seriously, this time is different.

The publication claims fighting with your significant other will increase your risk of heart problems, high blood pressure, stroke and type 2 diabetes.

Being married may be the reason you're eating too much.  The U.S. National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health found that 3.9% of married women will become overweight and 6.1% of men will.  Then, there's the added stress of still being attracted to each other after the weight increase.

The married/committed forget to take care of themselves.  Remember to take care of you so that you can take care of others around you.

Not getting enough sleep is a major complaint of couples.  One of the main concerns is the snoring of the other.  Not sleeping enough will have negative health affects on you.  If your partner snores or tosses and turns, take action to get some sleep yourself.

And finally, communication can cause all kinds of health issues.  You may take that as the words that are actually spoken between the two of you is the problem.  Not necessarily.  It's not addressing issues that can make you sick.  If you have headaches, muscle tension, anxiety or depression, it may not be what you go home to, but who.

The study found that women are more likely to take to alcohol or drugs to deal with relationship stress.
