Most people probably would want to cut holiday calories, but not have to sit around eating carrots and celery.  These 4 tips will help you keep the weight off without sacrificing taste.

1.  Eat white meat.  And don't eat the skin.  Dark meat contains more fat.

2.  Make the stuffing yourself.  Cut down on the fat by using fat-free milk and don't use as much butter as you did last year, only about half of what the recipe calls for.  It'll taste about the same and you'll cut calories.

3.  Save calories by making just green beans instead of green bean casserole.

4.  Do not serve pecan pie.  A piece of pumpkin pie is over 500 calories LESS than an equal piece of pecan pie.
