Youngsville Lions Club Gumbo/Chili Cookoff This Sunday

The 14th Annual Youngsville Lions' Club Gumbo/Chile Cook-Off takes place Sunday in Youngsville, with great entertainment and all-you-can-eat chili and gumbo for only $5!

I am going to try a new one this year:  smoked venison chili.  I am hoping that it is a hit with everyone (especially the judges!!!).

Teams compete for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies in the Amateur status for chili, gumbo and seafood gumbo categories, and 1st place for Professional chili and Professional gumbo categories.

After church on Sunday, bring the whole family to Youngsville for lunch, entertainment, and beautiful weather!

This event will benefit the organizations and individuals that are served by the donations from the Youngsville Lions' Club.
