Youngsville Lions Club Gumbo/Chili Cookoff January 26

The Youngsville Lions Club Gumbo and Chili Cookoff is coming up on January 26, 2019, at the Youngsville Lions/KC Hall.

The event opens to the public at 10:30 am and will feature live entertainment. Your $5 entry fee gets you in the gate and also gets you all-you-care-to-eat chili and gumbo! Children 6 and under get in free.

If your family, group or bunch of friends would like to participate in the competition, you'd better bring your best! To enter the competition (or if you just want to do it for fun and don't care about winning), a team of 4 costs $125. Teams must provide their own bowls and spoons, along with a 10x10 tent. Rice will be provided for each team.
