You Can Brighten Christmas for a Family with Cancer
The Miles Perret Cancer Services Giving Tree is an annual gift giving program that offers help to families during Christmas. The program is offered to children 18 and under who have cancer or have a parent/sibling with cancer. Each ornament on the Giving Tree lists a child’s wish, age, and gender. Generous businesses, groups, and individuals choose ornaments, shop for gifts, and return unwrapped gifts to our office. MPCS elves will wrap and distribute gifts in time for Christmas.
How to Give:
Visit MPCS at 2130 Kaliste Saloom Rd. or call to request one or more ornaments from the Giving Tree. There are over 250 ornaments still remaining on the tree! Each ornament has a child’s wish item, age, and gender on the back; all gifts should be within the $35 limit. Gifts need to be returned to our office by Friday, Dec 9th so our elves have time to wrap and distribute to families in time for Christmas.
Other Ways to Help:
We hope you will consider helping a child in Acadiana this Christmas. If you would prefer to donate to the program and let MPCS shop for you, they can do that as well. For more information or to make a donation, call 337.984.1920.
Thank you!
Deb
