At least year's Oscar ceremony, John Travolta infamously butchered Idinia Menzel's name as he introduced her. This year, the flubs have begun before the ceremony itself, as Academy Awards president Cheryl Boone Isaacs flubbed cinematographer Dick Pope's name as she revealed the 2015 Oscar nominations. This was quite surprising, considering how successfully Isaacs pronounced far more complicated, polysyllabic words.
