Work on Atchafalaya Basin Bridge Will Close One Lane of I-10 East

Note to I-10 drivers between Lafayette and Baton Rouge - The right lane of I-10 East on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge will be closed in two-mile sections beginning January 10, 2012 until February 10, 2012 between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., weather permitting. Beginning January 10^th work will take place Tuesday through Saturday and will resume Monday through Saturday for the duration of the project. This work is necessary to repair damaged communication lines which run along the side of the bridge.
