New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been selected to nine Pro Bowls, and is a three time Super Bowl champion. He has, however lost his last two Super Bowls to New Orleans native Eli Manning, and the New York Giants. This weekend, Brady's bid for a sixth Super Bowl appearance was thwarted by Eli's brother, Peyton Manning, and the Denver Broncos. Manning, and the Broncos will go on to meet the NFC champion Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVII, at brother Eli's home stadium, Met Life, on February 2nd.
Brady is reportedly so despondent that he's considering retirement. Rumors are rampant that teammates are no longer responsive to the aging quarterback (Brady will turn 37 in August.) The rumors are further fueled by the fact that Brady received NO "high fives" during the 2013 season.
