Kenny Chesney will be in Louisiana tomorrow (Apr. 4th) for a performance at Lafayette's Cajundome.
I wonder if he'll stop off in New Orleans to visit Saints head coach Sean Payton.

Kenny visited Saints camp a few years ago & '"tried out" for a wide receiver spot. He wasn't offered a contract. ESPN analyst Jon Gruden good - naturedly chided him in a subsequent film session for his unwillingness to block or go over the middle.  Chesney & Payton met when Sean was an assistant coach with the New York Giants and have since become close friends.

He’s got the kind of personality that makes players want to play hard for him. He’s hungry, and he’s not jaded. He really wants to succeed at this. He wants to be great, and wants his players to be great. Sean’s idea of determination and working hard goes beyond what some people’s idea of working hard is. And you add his personality on top of that, and his work ethic, and his spirit, and his love for the game, and love for life, I think that’s what makes Sean who he is, and why players love him so much.   - Kenny Chesney

Chesney & friend Jimmy Buffett visited the Saints locker room after they defeated the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship game en route to their Super Bowl win.
During a performance at Sloppy Joe's, both coach Payton and then Colts QB Peyton Manning joined him onstage. Chesney picked Payton over Peyton in the Super bowl.
The Saints are making a lot of changes this off season. Will Kenny get another shot?
