Lafayette, Why Do We Do This [PARKING LOT VIDEO]

Why do people do this?  Is it because it's all about them?  Is their vehicle too big for their driving skills?  Or, do we just have a bunch of idiots who have passed the driving test?

I recently stopped by the Credit Union on Guilbeau Rd. in Lafayette, went in to tell the ladies hello and get weekend cash and when I came out a truck had parked so awkwardly I could barely get into my car.  If I had weighed an ounce more, forget it, I would have had to get in on the passenger side.

Another point that bares mentioning, if someone would have gotten out of the truck's passenger side, the door of the truck would have slammed into my car causing one of those inconsiderate nasty dings.  I wish I could write tickets.
