Why Do Kids Love Playing With Bubbles?

"What's the big deal with bubbles?" There's something inexplicably magical about them. I don't think I've ever seen a kid who wasn't fascinated with them.

Adults too often seem take the pessimistic view, seeing bubbles as reminder of the temporary nature of our existence, but children have a glorious knack for finding joy in their fleeting beauty.

A few weeks ago, I was poolside and spotted a bubble wand someone had left behind. I couldn't resist the temptation to pick it up & play. I didn't take it home. It didn't belong to me.
