Whole Foods Seeks Local Growers

Whole Foods announced earlier this year, they'll be opening a store in Lafayette. It's scheduled to open September 24th. KLFY reports, the company is seeking local vendors in the Lafayette area. South Louisiana is well known for its excellent food, and the local climate is highly conducive to the production of excellent agricultural products. A seminar for prospective vendors will be held Friday, August 22nd. "Local 101" will be at the Lafayette Economic Development Authority from 10am-1pm.
