Just when the world was beginning to accept and move on from the death of pop legend Whitney Houston, new details about her passing are emerging -- and they aren't pretty. New reports suggest that the 'I Will Always Love You' singer was actually murdered.

Radar Online reports that private investigator Paul Huebl believes Houston was killed by drug dealers to whom she owed an approximately $1.5 million debt. Huebl dug up video surveillance showing the alleged thugs that drug lords sent to slay the troubled star.

“I have evidence that points to Whitney being a victim of a high powered drug dealers who sent thugs to collect a huge debt she owed for drugs,” Huebl said. Hubel apparently took a gander not just the coroner's reports, but also drug informants for details on this latest conspiracy.

Apparently a bunch of unknown men kept showing up at the Beverly Hills Hilton hotel where Houston died, and they attempted to hang out with the singer's sycophants. Huebl also says that Houston received a cocaine delivery the day before she drowned in her bathtub, but that she was overheard griping, "I'm tired of this s---," referring to the debts she allegedly owned for the contraband. Huebl claims that the two men were caught on the hotel surveillance video during the 45 minutes in which she was alone in her room -- and died in the tub.

Huebl claims that while the coroner's report and police insisted there was no foul play and that her official cause of death was accidental drowning (with heart disease and cocaine use not helping matters), the singer exhibited defense wounds consistent with fighting for one's life.

While we may never know what happened to Houston the night of her death, we do wish she could rest in peace. Our condolences remain with Houston's family and friends.
