With Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun baseball, softball, and men’s/women’s basketball all overlapping for a fourth-consecutive weekend, once again, there will be a couple of minor tweaks in the radio coverage.

The 5th-ranked Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun softball team begins conference play this weekend, when they play host to the South Alabama Jaguars in a thee-game Sun Belt Conference series at Lamson Park.

The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday at 2 o’clock, followed by a single game on Sunday at 1 pm.

You can all UL softball games on Saturday and Sunday on ESPN 1420 and espn1420.com, beginning with the pregame show, 15 minutes prior to first-pitch.

The nationally-ranked Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun baseball team also opens up Sun Belt Conference play this weekend, when they travel to Troy, Alabama to face the Troy Trojans in three-game conference series.

Game times are 6 o’clock on Friday night, 3 pm on Saturday afternoon, and 1 o’clock for the series finale on Sunday.

Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun women’s basketball team continues play in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament at Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, taking on top-seeded Little Rock in semifinal action on Friday afternoon.

Tipoff time is slated for is 2 pm.

Should they win on Friday, coach Garry Brodhead's squad would play for the tournament championship on Saturday evening at 7 pm, a game that would air on ESPN 1420 and espn1420.com. 

Finally, Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun men’s basketball team plays their first game in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament in New Orleans, facing South Alabama in the quarterfinals.

Tipoff time is scheduled for 5 o'clock.
