What's a better breakfast, cereal or pizza? I posed that question to a couple co-workers. It became a discussion of preferences. I guess I should have been more specific. Which do you think is more nutritionally sound? The winner is pizza, according to The Chicago Tribune.  It's often said, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Most breakfast cereals are nutritionally barren. They offer little more than carbs, and refined sugar. Pizza offers carbs, fat, protein, and depending on toppings, vegetables. You'll probably be surprised to know there's little difference in calorie content between a slice of pizza, and a bowl of cereal with milk. The pizza isn't loaded with sugar. That means no sugar rush & subsequent crash. Is pizza the best nutritional choice for breakfast? Of course not! That being said eating almost anything for breakfast is better than skipping it.
