Give chocolate, specifically Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. 24/7 Wall Street reports they were America's top selling candy in 2012. Nearly 510 million dollars worth of Reese's were sold last year. M&Ms, came in second, at nearly $501 million.

The figures show chocolate is definitely America's favorite variety of candy. Nearly 4 billion dollars were  spent on chocolate products under 3-1/2 ounces over the past four years. Chocolate represents about 75% of Halloween of Halloween candy sales.

Who eats it all? kids eat 4 out of every 5 pieces of candy.
