Water will always be a part of who we are.  We love to fish in it, play in it and we certainly love to eat some of the creatures found in it.  But what happens when it turns on us? As hard as it is to endure damage or injury to a home or loved one caused by Mother Nature, it's happened before and it will certainly happen again.

In 1974 Randy Newman recorded 'Louisiana 1927', a song about the Great Mississippi Flood of 1927 that left 700,000 people homeless in Louisiana and Mississippi.  It's a song about a great state, with great people who can be taken down...but not out.
