Lafayette Native Lelia Broussard Up For Rolling Stone Cover

Lafayette native, Lelia Broussard, is competing to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine! Lelia is a talented singer and songwriter who grew up right here listening to 99.9 KTDY. As a matter of fact, Lelia and her Mom visited CJ and Debbie Ray during a live remote broadcast fifteen years ago and she sang the National Anthem live on the radio for their listeners. She was only 6 years old at the time, but we knew she was something special! This spunky 21 year old is now competing to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine’s Do You Wanna Be a Rock-N-Roll Star contest.
Listen to Lelia chat with CJ and Debbie Ray on their May 11, 2011 radio show.
