shows that people looked more attractive when they added extra vegetables to their diets. Dr. Ian Stephen
, who led the study, says that eating vegetables increases carotenoid levels, giving skin a golden, glowing tone that rivals a tan. And loading up on veggies is obviously much better for you than soaking up the sun’s harmful rays! The research findings relate to Charles Darwin’s theory of “survival of the fittest,’ whereby people with healthier-looking complexions were more attractive to potential mates. Sounds like the best beauty fix isn’t in the makeup department- it’s in the produce aisle.
