ULM’s Leonard Wants To Play For The Saints

Louisiana-Monroe's leading receiver for 2012 will forgo a tryout with the Dallas Cowboys and accept a tryout with the New Orleans Saints next weekend.
Officials  at UL Monroe announced on Friday that Brent  Leonard will try out for coach Payton's squad. Veteran wideout Devery Henderson is a recent salary cap casualty. Leonard led the Warhawks in receiving in 2012 with 104 catches for 1,118 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Leonard is expected to arrive in New Orleans on Thursday. He'll meet with the Saints' coaches prior to rookie camp next weekend, May 10-12.
