A legislative auditor's report that was released this morning list several infractions against Sodexo, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette's food service provider.

An internal UL Lafayette audit found Sodexo may have overbilled the school by $5,454 on catering services for university-sponsored tailgating events.

Then, auditors discovered Sodexo catered free private graduation and birthday parties for the children of its former student union director.

Sodexo also allowed its employees to take it easy on the job. Sodexo allowed duties including cleaning the student union to be passed on to UL Lafayette housekeeping staff members. In return, the UL staff received 5,837 meals on meal plans which translated to $33,213.

The report also revealed Sodexo traded 15 sets of UL Lafayette season football tickets, per year, in exchange for meal plans given to the school's athletic department.
