Roughly 1,300 graduates will be awarded diplomas from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette during the school’s Fall 2014 Commencement exercises. Undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees will be conferred on Friday, December 19 at the Cajundome and Convention Center. The general assembly begins at 11 AM and will be attended by all graduating seniors and faculty vested in full academic regalia.

Former Louisiana poet laureate and UL Lafayette professor emeritus of English Dr. Darrell Bourque will present the commencement address to the General Assembly, which will also be broadcast online via a livestream accessible by clicking here.

Master’s and bachelor’s degrees will be conferred at ceremonies for each academic college. A schedule and locations are below.

Parking will be available at Cajun Field; motorists are encouraged to enter through Gate 4 on West Congress Street.

University Police officers will examine the contents of purses, bags, and packages of attendees. Large bags or over-sized packages will not be allowed inside Commencement venues.
