Two schools in Ohio closed yesterday because of a staff member Ebola scare.  An overreaction?  Not according to officials.

Each school, Solon Middle School and Parkside Elementary were closed so their shared building could be cleaned after it was discovered that a staff member may have flown into Cleveland on the same plane as the nurse with Ebola.

Spokesperson Tamara Strom, the coordinator of communication, says this was not an overreaction.

Public health officials says there was no risk of Ebola being spread throughout the schools because the staff member had not come in contact with Amber Vinson, the nurse who is being treated for Ebola.  However, officials agree, it was the right thing to do.
