Twice Per Year, New Yorkers Experience ‘Manhattanhenge’

And today, May 28, is one of those days that the grid of the city of Manhattan lines up perfectly with the track of the sun.

According to the American Museum of Natural History, the phenomenon happens twice a year, for two days....  on one of those days, half of the setting sun lines up; on the next( tomorrow), it's the full sun that can be seen on the horizon.
