Truck Rolled Into Big Ditch At Pinhook WalMart
I was driving home from work when I noticed that there was a truck in the big ditch in front of the WalMart on Pinhook!
I drove by filming, and when I realized there was someone still in the truck, I stopped to check on them.
Here is the story: the truck had broken down, and the gentleman (from out of town) hired a tow truck driver to tow it to the WalMart parking lot. From there, a friend was going to meet him to help him fix the truck. After the tow truck disconnected and left, the truck started to roll, and the man couldn't stop it. It rolled over the curb and down into the ditch.
He told me that he called the tow company back, and that they were supposed to be sending the driver back to WalMart to pull the truck out of the ditch. I offered to tow him out with my Jeep, and we began to hook up right as the tow truck arrived, so I went about my way.
I sure do hope that the tow truck driver didn't charge him to pull it from the ditch!.
