Truck Crashes into Bus in Scott on First Day of School

Scott, La. (KPEL) Near the intersection of Dulles and Westgate was the site of a crash around 7:30 this morning.

Police say a truck ran into the back of a school bus with four children on board. None of the children were harmed in the accident, but the bus did sustain damage to the back end.

The driver of the bus, Vicky Manual, stated that she felt sore and tense and was taken away in an ambulance.

The driver of the truck, a female, was in the back of a State Trooper car and was taken away. Her name and charges have not yet been released. More information to come. View more photos from the scene here.
