    Taco Cook-Off For Jingles The Clown

    A taco cook-off is being held to help defray the medical expenses of Acadiana's favorite clown: Jingles!

    Cajun Harley-Davidson in Scott is hosting the taco cook-off on Saturday, August 19th specifically to raise money for Jingles. You can expect to find lots of different tacos: Soft tacos, hard tacos, beef, chicken, seafood, wild game, vegetarian.

    Casino Night at Cite' des Arts

    Cité des Arts' first Casino Night will help them for their venue/performances.

    Citè des Arts is at 109 Vine Street in Downtown Lafayette, between Third and Jefferson. The Casino Night runs from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. Tickets cost $50 and include dinner, non-alcoholic drinks and playing chips. Available games include roulette, blackjack, craps, let it ride, three-card poker and Texas Hold'em. Space is limited to 120 people and tickets are first-come, first-served. Alcoholic beverages will be sold. Must be 21 to enter. All proceeds go to Cité des Arts to fund programs and operations throughout the year.
