Giving Tuesday is a national day of giving at the start of the annual holiday season to celebrate and encourage charitable activities that support nonprofit organizations.
One of the World War II Museum Trustees, Jed V. Davis, is offering a dollar for dollar match up to $10,000 of all gifts given to the Museum today. Mr. Davis is the grandson of the late James Elsworth Davis, a WWII veteran who served in the Army’s North African Campaign from 1943 – 1945. He has been with the Museum since 2010 and is particularly interested in their next pavilion — Campaigns of Courage: European and Pacific Theaters — since stories from the North African Campaign will be included as part of the Road to Berlin galleries.
The deadline for the match is midnight tonight so your time is limited! Give now to take advantage of the match and help them reach their $20,000 end of year goal.
