After recently discovering Tide Pods, which are very convenient, I wondered just how well they worked. Sure they're cute and feel good in your hand, but will they get clothes clean and are they worth the money?

About 10 months ago, the most recent study I could find for this story, Consumer Reports did a study on washing detergents. You can get the cleaning of Tide for half the price. Tide is a good detergent, but all that advertising you see costs money, and the cost of all that advertising has to be passed on to you. I may not be buying Tide next time.
